Dr. Mark Ziese retired from university duties after 25 years of appointments as instructor, professor, and dean. He continues to travel widely. He was named a Fellow at the Albright Institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem in 2011 and currently serves as a field instructor with the Jerusalem Center of Biblical Studies. Mark grew up in the mountains of Oregon, where he was captured by the wonder of the great outdoors. The theme of God as Creator finds its way regularly into his study, his speaking engagements, and his writing about biblical environments.
