Rosario “Roz” Picardo
Roz, a first-generation Sicilian-American from western New York, has an extensive educational background, including a BA in Religion from Houghton College (2003), a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary (2007), a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary (2014), and an MBA from Dakota Wesleyan University (2021). He began his ministry as a military chaplain in his senior year of college, serving in both the Marine and Navy Reserves. Roz has dedicated his career to the local church, taking on various roles from custodian to executive pastor, notably at Ginghamsburg Church and as a founding pastor of Mosaic, a multicultural church in Dayton, Ohio. Beyond pastoral work, Roz is a national speaker, author of 9 books, leads Picardo Coaching LLC for church planters/pastors, and contributes as a faculty consultant and affiliate faculty member in United’s Doctor of Ministry program.
