Karen Oliveto is a retired Bishop in The United Methodist Church. She was born on Good Friday and raised in Babylon, NY.  Karen has served in rural and urban settings. She has been a local church pastor, campus minister, associate Dean of Academic Affair as well as adjunct professor of United Methodist Studies at Pacific School of Religion. She is a preacher, pastor, prophet, teacher, and author. 

She has spent nearly every summer of her life in Nova Scotia and now resides there full-time with her wife. She looks forward to sharing the beauty and history of the Northeast and Maritime provinces with those on the cruise as together we relearn "the unforced rhythms of grace."
