Make your way to John Street UMC. You will meet your group at 10 AM for a tour of the John Street Museum. Afterward, you will have lunch together before starting an exciting guided walking tour of Methodism in Lower Manhattan, filled with historical sites until 5 PM. Make sure to grab a bite to eat on your own for dinner before you meet your bus at 7 PM back at John Street UMC. Travel to Trenton, check into your hotel, and overnight! (L)

Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and get ready to travel to the City of Brotherly Love! We’ll begin with worship at Historic St. George’s UMC before enjoying a tour of their museum. We’ll then begin a walking tour of Methodism in Philadelphia. Check into your hotel and enjoy your evening on your own. (B, L)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and experience a walking tour of Philly, including stops at Mother Bethel AME, Mother Zoar, and other historic sites. Grab a bite to eat, and around 6:00 PM, you will travel to Dover, DE. (B, L)

Check out of your hotel this AM and prepare for an all day visit at Barratt’s Chapel. While there, you will enjoy time for lunch and fellowship. In the afternoon, plan to depart together and drive toward Baltimore. (B,L)

After breakfast, gather and walk to Lovely Lane UMC to discuss the history of American Methodism in Baltimore. Enjoy lunch at the Church before beginning our walking tour of this historic town. Exciting fact: the Baltimore area has more UM historic sites than anywhere else in the US! In the evening, spend some time exploring Baltimore on your own. (B, L)

In the morning, you will gather and walk to Old Otterbein UMC to learn about the Evangelical United Brethren roots of United Methodism. After enjoying a visit, you will have lunch and tour more sites nearby. At 4 PM, you will depart for our Nation’s Capital. Enjoy the free time and nightlife in D.C. tonight. (B,L)

Walk to the United Methodist Building this morning -- it’s the only non-governmental building on Capitol Hill! We’ll learn from other general agencies before doing a tour of Methodism in DC. Tonight we will have a group dinner together to reflect on all that we learned before saying our goodbyes! (B, L)

You may choose to stay in DC today on your own or join the bus back to New York City. We plan to have the bus depart after breakfast for a ride straight to the airport! (B)
