Opportunity Overview

Educational Opportunities Tours is seeking a Video Production Specialist for our dynamic Creative Services Department, Located in Lakeland, FL. This position is a full-time position and will work in the Creative Services Department to create and edit live and filmed video content within established guidelines for all brands of the company to drive sales, train the sales force, orient guests to products and services, and educate guests on a variety of topics.

• Set up equipment and sets for productions
• Maintain studio equipment
• Film and edit video content for various purposes
• Record and edit voiceovers
• Run various equipment during live productions, including but not limited to cameras, teleprompters, PowerPoint, and video switchers
• Work closely with writers, designers, and brand representatives to ensure project development and deployment.
• Apply knowledge about company policies, procedures, and pricing to best meet customer needs
• Remain up to date on video production trends and best practices
• Other duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from a four (4) year college or technical school
• Technically proficient in the studio and on-location settings using equipment such as broadcast switchers, broadcast cameras, DSLR/cinema cameras, lavalier microphones, boom microphones, lighting, green screens, etc.
• Proficient in the following Adobe Creative Suite programs: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder
• Working knowledge of the following Adobe Creative Suite programs: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Remains current on digital media best practices, including social media, film, broadcast, and general design genres
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to travel internationally as needed
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills in a high-pressure environment and is meticulous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Script and copywriting experience
• Graphic design experience
• MailChimp, Squarespace, and similar experience
